Xarkis X Symbraxis

In 2023 Xarkis celebrated its 10th anniversary. The visual identity for the festival and residency programme – that took place in Kornos – was inspired by the location itself. The 2 ‘kouzes’ (traditional Kornos red clay water jugs), form a unison with the letters X and Ξ – the initials of Xarkis in the 2 languages – against an abstract landscape. The vibrant gradients and the decomposed elements of the identity were featured on flags that decorated the village, signage, website and all things related to the festival.
