PSI Foundation logo

The name PSI, derived from the Greek letter Ψ, is a direct reference to the building itself. The inverted form of the letter, echoed in the building’s façade, serves as a central visual motif and informs the visual identity developed for PSI Foundation. A bold monospaced typeface was selected for the logo, reflecting the strong, geometric character of the building’s concrete Modernist architecture. Originally built as a carob warehouse, the building has since been transformed into a contemporary art institution, and the robust typographic treatment creates a visual connection between its industrial past and its current cultural role. The extended type family provides flexibility across a wide range of applications, allowing the foundation to create a cohesive yet adaptable visual language for different contexts and occasions.
